Serhii Oreshet launched his professional career as Head of Youth Programs at the election headquarters of the then Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ivan Plyushch.

He subsequently spent more than a decade working with companies Nikollo M and the Foundation for Effective Politics, where he specialized in providing information support for business conflicts across Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova.

In 2007, advisor to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ivan Plyushch.

From 2010 to 2012, he served as Strategic Communications Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Between 2014 and 2017, Mr. Oreshet collaborated with Psy-Group as a senior external consultant.

Over the course of his career, he has designed and implemented dozens of information operations in both political and business contexts. Notably, he was among the key architects behind the surge of interest in so-called “meme stocks,” including GameStop and AMC Entertainment, in 2021.
